Horror movies are more than just frightening jumps and loud noises. For me, the best scary movies are the ones that make you feel nervous and scared even after watching them. They have creepy stories, strange characters, and spooky places that stick in your mind. So, I made my list of the top 10 scariest movies, compiling all of the movies that scared me. These movies get to your head and just are scary. The first one is The Conjuring. That movie is very creepy, because it’s based on a true story. Next is Hereditary. I don’t even know how to explain what this movie is, it’s just strange to be honest. It’s just  slow, quiet, and just weird. The Exorcist is old but still one of the scariest ever. Just imagine watching someone get possessed.

   The Ring comes next. That movie has sent people to the hospital. It’s very scary. A Nightmare on Elm Street is another classic. Freddy Krueger is creepy because you can’t get away from him, this movie has a very good plot and is not as scary as some of the new movies.The Shining is creepy in a different way, more like the kind of movie that will get in your head and make you terrified to sleep.The quiet parts are the worst. And Sinister, it’s just a weird staring movie and the plot is mid but it’s super scary. I’m not the biggest fan of scary movies but I will watch them with people though. People who watch scary movies alone are sicko. People who enjoy watching people get killed by dolls,monsters,nuns, and who knows what, are crazy.

     I still like horror, just not watching it alone. I enjoy it with friends. When you’re with people, you don’t feel as scared because you know it’s fake, but when i watch one by myself I feel like im being watched to be honest. Watching it alone is definitely for people who don’t want to sleep or are just sick. That is my Top 10 Scary movies and what I think about scary movies.
