Logan Aldridge

At 13 years old, Logan Aldridge was in a tragic wakeboarding accident that left him without an arm. Now, the Raleigh native is a fitness sensation with over 195,000 followers on Instagram.

Logan Aldridge is from Raleigh and attended the Ravenscroft School. After his accident, he quickly returned to all sorts of sports like football, soccer, basketball, baseball, and lacrosse. He realized he had to take his training more seriously after his return to compete at the same level as his peers.

After college, he started working in the prosthetic industry, where he would work with amputees with chronic diseases like Type 2 diabetes. He quickly realized that fitness was his calling, as most of these people were not going to be active either way. He decided he needed to get to these patients before the amputations and decided to start coaching people on how to be healthy and active.

He also went on to compete in various strength and fitness competitions, and in 2019, he was named the Strongest One Armed Man on Earth.

Aldridge founded the Adaptive Training Academy, which teaches coaches how to train adaptive athletes. He is also a certified Peleton instructor and is known for describing what he is wearing for people in his class who are blind or have low vision. He hosts a variety of classes, from full-body strength workouts to certain muscle group training. He reaches over 7 million people around the world with his workouts.

Aldridge recently returned to his hometown to meet fans and give an interview about his journey.
