A Chick-Fil-A culinary critique

I arrived at the scene of the day’s main event with hunger and a sense of purpose, and quickly made my way out of my friend’s car. I glanced around at the parking lot, deliberating what my order should consist of. I knew I had to stick to the classics, so I opened my Chick-Fil-A app and ordered a number one meal, including french fries, their signature Chick-Fil-A sauce, and a sweet tea. I only had to wait around five minutes for my food, and it was delivered hot and in a convenient paper bag (including napkins), which leads me to rate their service at a 10 out of 10.

I opened the bag slowly, allowing the delicious scent of fried chicken to fill the air inside of the car. After removing the contents carefully, I opened the miniature sauce container and grabbed a fry, dipping about half in. To put it simply, the taste was extraordinary. A combination of subtle sweetness and delicious salt flooded my taste buds. Chick-Fil-A boasts some of the best fries in the fast food business, and this experience did not disappoint.

“They’re pretty good,” said sophomore Cooper Widmayer. Sadly, I could detect a subtle trace of staleness which prompted me to assume that the fries had not been fresh, which causes me to lower the overall grade to nine out of 10.

After polishing up the fries, I took out the main course, the classic Chick-Fil-A chicken sandwich. I opened the bag it was contained in and noticed that it was preserving the heat of the sandwich, which was a nice touch that is almost unheard of in the fast food business. I took a bite and absorbed the flavors, noting the delectable fried shell and the refreshing pickles that cooled my mouth. It was an unnaturally good bite, so I took another, shocked by the consistency of the results. It was the best Chick-Fil-A sandwich I had ever had, easily a 10 out of 10.

My experience at Chick-Fil-A had been one for the books, and I highly recommend consuming it in moderation, as I have learned from experience that eating lots of CFA food for long periods of time can lead to disliking the food.
