On Wednesday, February 24, students will be released three hours early due to the threat of inclement severe thunderstorms and tornadoes. Students will be released at 11:18 after watching multiple other counties close their schools.

The news slowly progressed, starting with no off campus lunch, and then slowly progressing to the news of the release.

Some students are nervous about the potential weather threat.

“Tornadoes are my second biggest fear. They are super scary. I wish they had let us home earlier, ” senior Neeki Tahssili said.

However, the dismisal proccess is going smoothly.

“Everyone is doing what they are told. Mr. Mares has order and no one is panicking,” assistant principal Dianne Lockwood said.
